Round Ireland Tour
Sunday, October 4th to Friday October 16th 2026.
This will be our second Tour to Ireland the first one was hugely popular and so we have developed a new tour visiting new places and a few old favorite places.
Our Round Ireland Tour will start and finish in Dublin. We will travel in a clockwise direction around this mystical island.
We will start the Tour on Sunday, October 4th with 2 nights at the exquisite Merrion Hotel in the center of Dublin. Ideally guests should fly into Dublin which has great connections to and from the US. On our first night we will have dinner in the elegant dining room.
Monday, October 5th
We will take in the main sights of compact Dublin including Trinity College Library amongst other things.
Tuesday, October 6th
We will head south west out of Dublin and start our journey of discovery with a stop to visit Blarney Castle and Gardens. Check into The Eccles Hotel Glengarriff Harbour for 2 nights.
Wednesday, October 7th
A day in the beautiful far south west of Ireland. Visit to Garinish Island and Bantry House.
Thursday, October 8th
Depart Glengarriff and take a drive around the renowned Ring of Kerry.
Spend the night at the Lake Hotel on the shores of Lough Leane near Killarney.
Friday, October 9th
Time to see Lough Leane and Ross Castle on the shore. Then we will head north and take the ferry over the huge River Shannon.
Visit to the mighty Cliffs of Moher, then on into the Burren Region famous for its vast limestone pavements.
We will spend the night at a local hotel yet to be determined.
Saturday, October 10th
Today onwards north into County Galway where we will visit Kylemore Abbey. We will spend the night at a local hotel yet to be determined.
Sunday, October 11th
Today we will journey into County Sligo and see the huge Benbulbin Mountain and visit nearby Drumcliffe Church to visit the grave of W.B Yeats the famous Irish Poet. From here we will proceed into Northern Ireland and check into The Manor House Hotel at Enniskillen on Lough Erne for 2 nights.
Monday, 12th October
Today we will have a Needlepoint Class day at the hotel. Also time to explore Enniskillen on Lough Erne.
Tuesday, October 13th
Today we will depart Enniskillen and head north east into Northern Ireland and visit The Giant’s Causeway famous for its 60 million year old basalt columns right on the shoreline.
Onwards to Belfast where we will check into The Titanic Hotel for 2 nights.
Wednesday, October 14th
We will visit the Titanic Museum just across from the Hotel. Then a ride out to see Mount Stewart House on the shore of Strangford Lough.
Thursday, October 15th
We will head back into the Republic of Ireland and arrive for our last night at The Merrion Hotel. We will have the famous Art Afternoon Tea as our farewell meal.
Friday, October 16th
Guests return to the USA.
Please note on our Tour we will have time to stitch with Elizabeth, shop and have delicious Irish cuisine.

The Tour includes everything apart from your airfare, alcohol and a tip for the bus driver (usually £ 50).
